Barrows Golden Eye

The ice was just breaking up around this lake's edge in this area of South Central Alaska around early-mid April "22. This beautiful drake was trying to hide from me as I gently walked around some fishing boat + gear on the shore to wait for him to appear in the icy water of the bank.
