This Sandhill Crane was out in the wet rainy day training the Colt (baby) to look for food. It had been a rainy few days in south central Alaska summer, but this parent must have felt the need to take his colt for a stroll through the dense growth along the coastal marsh to feed on seeds, grains, insects and small animals
