Great Grey Owl perched

The Grey Owl flew across an opening and landed in a Spruce tree some 75 ft away from the road. Leery to approach this magnificent raptor I started shooting pics though his piercing yellow eyes seem to say "danger"! This was in April when they are looking to mate and can be very aggressive! This owl was in the forests here in south central Alaska.
