Merlin is harassed by Magpies

Witnessed these Magpies harassing this Merlin near a wooded area adjacent to a coastal marsh in South Central Alaska. Took a few pics before they got out of range. Merlin was either trying to take a break and rest a while on this dead tree branch, or had been hunting this area and the Magpies just couldn't resist harassing him until he nearly got one of them! Wow what a scene as that little Merlin told those Magpies "enough is enough"!!
